Channels

  • CrashCourse Tons of awesome courses in one awesome channel! Subjects include: Social Studies (Economics, U.S Government, U.S. History, World History, Psychology), Science (Astronomy, Anatomy & Physiology, Biology, Chemistry, Ecology, Physics), ELA (Literature and Mythology). Most videos are about 10 minutes in length.

  • Edutopia: Offers inspiration and information for what works in education. Edutopia is run by The George Lucas Educational Foundation.
  • Khan Academy - This channel features thousands of videos that will teach students the ins and outs of algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, finance, physics, economics and more.
  • NASA on YouTube
  • This Week in Tech on YouTube- (for anyone wanting to stay on top of what is happening in tech)
  • Ted Talks on YouTube- The No. 1 site for people who enjoy learning and teaching!
  • YouTube EDU - YouTube hosts a section dedicated to academic videos. It’s a little bit of a mixed bag, but it features some quality videos.
  • YouTube Teachers - Wonderful site designed to help teachers use educational videos in the classroom.
