  • INFOhio Free Webinars If you need to earn CEUs or just want to learn something new, log in to one of INFOhio's upcoming webinars.
    • These free one hour webinars are for classroom teachers, curriculum coordinators, guidance counselors and technology coordinators.
    • All you need is a computer with Internet access and working speakers or audio headphones for participation.
    • All sessions are 3:30-4:30 p.m. EST.
    • If that time is inconvenient, all webinars are archived for later viewing, and you can still earn a certificate of attendance for CEU credit by answering a few questions afterward.

  • Success in Six is an online self-paced program that shows you the latest ways to use digital resources to support 1:1 learning, blended learning, personalized learning, differentiation, and a host of other student needs.
    • Each of the six modules earns you three contact hours when completed and are offered at no charge to any Ohio educator.

Courserahas added a "teacher professional development" category to its collection of online and videotaped courses, allowing educators to participate according to their own schedule. The courses -- developed by Coursera in partnership with seven schools of education, plus educational institutions and museums -- will allow K-12 teachers and other individuals to take courses intended to help them develop understanding of topics, including the Common Core State Standards and blended learning. The courses are free, though a $30 to $99 fee may be charged for a completion certificate.

The National Park Service Teacher Ranger Teacher (TRT) program lets teachers spend their summer learning in a U.S. National Park. Participants earn 3 graduate credits from the University of Colorado paid for by the the National Park Service. After completion of the course, participants also receive a stipend to help cover travel or living expenses.
